Mir bereiten die Bücher von John F. MacArthur etwas kopfzerbrechen. Sie erwecken für mich den Eindruck, als müßte man gleich nach der Bekehrung der eifrigste, kompromissloseste, beste Jünger sein. Ich muß gestehen: Das kann ich nicht erfüllen. Ist es nicht vielmehr so, dass die Heiligung in einfachen kleinen Schritten vor sich geht und das man Jesus Christus erst mal immer besser kennenlernen muß. Dann, wenn man die Beziehung ausbaut, verbucht man auch nach und nach Erfolge in der Nachfolge. Wie seht ihr das?
